Goal: Working on Prayer and Banking Construction

So I had a little fun moment today, I just got my first 500 Pest Points, out of the 26.000 I need for 99 Prayer xD
I actually enjoy Pest Control, it is very chill, so although Prayer will be a slow 99, it wont be boring Smile

But I more or less decided I don't want to do Mahogany Homes.. I want to do Mahogany Tables 93-99 Construction.
So I sat down and started figuring the numbers out..
I needed 40.700 Planks, I already had 6700, so I missed 34.000 planks.
If I use Plank Make the cost is 1050 GP per plank, meaning I needed = 35.7M
I had 14M in the bank, meaning I was missing 21.7M.
Which is alot for a HCIM that does not do any bossing lol.

I checked my bank, discovered I had 11k mith ores and 25k coal, so thats 8.2M in alchs there.
Still missing 13.5M however.

So I started considering Mining, I know 1 full bag at Blast Mining gives me on average 420 Mith, 390 Addy and 126 Runite based on my numbers from 75-99 Mining.
Which after processing is 2.6M GP.
Aka 5 full Bags..

It was around this time, I just stared at my bank a bit, looked at my Farm Tab that contained my herb seeds for eventually banking 99 Herblore, and I went to my Runes Tab that I so proudly achieved after 99 Runecrafting.

And it was as I stared at this sight, I suddenly got a random thought.
"Can I convert these runes to GP?"

And oh boy, YES I COULD!

Ali Morrisane is a shop in Al Kharid, he has a very special Rune Shop.
Why is it special? His prices are STATIC.
Which means that no matter the amount you sell to him, they stay a certain value.
He buys Blood Runes at any amount for 200 GP each.
My 82k Blood Runes could be sold for 16.4M
And that was just the blood runes!

Long story short, I don't boss, I don't really NEED 128k death runes or 125k law runes or 178k chaos runes or 138k nature runes or 82k blood runes.
I know I will need runes and stuff for the Nexus, but I just need to make sure I keep this amount:

So I started selling, and I reached the most amount of money I have ever had on this account so far ^^

And I didn't even sell all of my runes, I just sold enough to bank 99 Construction Very Happy

Now I just need 10k more logs and to convert the logs to planks.
I also dropped the plank make spell, since using the spell for all the planks would be 35 hours, instead I just threw more runes at Ali and got 15M more cash, so I can use butler-sawmill method, and therefore only needing 5 hours for the conversion ^^

I just read through your entire journey and wow, was it an interesting one! Starting with 99 Agility is really fitting for a hardcore player. If you could give a young hardcore account one tip for longevity, what would it be? It seems like tracking your progress here also helps a lot with motivation to keep pushing on for certain (tedious) goals.

Glad to hear you like the journey so far, I also enjoy reading through it sometimes, just to see how far I have come xD
The 99 Agility as the first one was mostly because I want to mirror my other account which got 99 Agility first and 99 Cooking last, random advertisement: Got a progress thread for my other account here:

Honestly the best tips I can give is:
#1 - Do not to AFK in any combat situation(defintion of combat: chance of losing HP)
#2 - Being over-prepared is okay, recommended even, if you have to do something dangerous Smile

Goal: Slowly chipping away at Prayer

Been doing some Pest Control, and felt like upgrading my outfit to one with more accuracy Very Happy

Started new work, so have not played alot the last month, but I did manage to squeeze in some pest control and herb runs, got 2100 pest control points atm, which is a good 550k prayer xp stored and ready to go ^^

However I finally banked 99 Herblore WITH SECONDARIES, and that is the banked xp WITHOUT dwarf weed, since there is NO WAY I am telegrabbing 6k zammy wines lol

I decided to not hoard points, instead I will only semi-hoard.
I will store points until I got enough for a lvl, then spend it Very Happy

So for now I got my first prayer lvl through pest control ^^

For safecores and UIM yes lol
It is normally 30k xp/h, and then for each CB Task Tier you complete you get +10k xp/h.
I don't feel confident in Hard Tier, so I am at 51k xp/h atm, though the xp/h does rise, since at certain lvls the xp/point goes up, can see the exact list HERE.

My calculations from Lvl 89:
current: 51.5k xp/h
92-94: 55.5k xp/h
95-97: 59.5k xp/h
98: 63.5k xp/h

I get 200-210 points per hour Smile

To be honest I don't think I can take 130 hours of pest control in one go lol

I plan to get 95 at first, then get 98 Herblore and 95 Fishing, and then back to Prayer xD bounce

92 Prayer means I now get 252 xp per point instead of 234 xp, which means when I exchange 100 I now go from 25.740 XP to 27.720 XP.
Not a big change, with old XP I would need 2600 points for 93, with new XP I now need 2400 lol

92 Prayer also got me to 2249 total, so used some of my planks to get that clean 2250 ^^
