A small little update, finally got a Spirit Seed from farm contracts, so could make this little upgrade ^^

And added some decoration to it, for christmas

It's crazy to look back and see how far you've came

Goal atm is 99 Mining, followed by 99 Smithing

That's some serious gains purple! That cape of skulls is awesome!! Didn't know you could get something like that from an easy clue.

Goal: Upcoming Mining Skill of the Week

Been taking a pause from mining this week, hoping that mining would win SOTW.. WHICH IT DID.
So my goal is now to get 99 this sotw ^^
Been working on Smithing instead



Honestly, smithing stuff and using the stuff in Giants Foundry makes the xp really come in for lesser bar usage
1000 Mithril Bars and 1000 Adamantite Bars gave me a total of 800k XP and 1.1M GP, and allowed me to unlock all the moulds in Giants Foundry. Next stop is the smithing outfit
So on this knowledge, I would need another 5000 of each bar for 99, already got the mith and I got 4k addy ores, so I will have alot of extra supplies after Mining and thats not even counting the runite ^^
Runite wont be used in Giants Foundry though, it will be used to make Rune Platelegs to alch to afford 99 Fletch

Those are some MASSIVE gains.

Between Mining and Smithing I have decided to take Smithing first, so have been doing alot of Giants Foundry
Completed the Smiths Uniform ^^

Followed by getting closer



Honestly the Smith Outfit is extremely nice fashionscape and now I also got a huge blade xD

And completed the Log

One more until I got both rows filled ^^


Made my runite ores into alchables, and will use the money on banking 99 Fletching

I did actually look into giants foundry yesterday. Seems interesting and I especially like there is a quest requirement to participate in the mini game.

Where will you do most of your mining at?

@Purple Dude -- What are your thoughts on the afk-ness of Giant's Foundry? I've been interested in doing more smithing training, but I've been doing dart tips because they're nice and afk.

It is not at all AFK lol, if you work your preform too long at a station, it lowers in quality, meaning less xp for final product.
Also 2-3 times per item, you get the chance to preform to perfection, which skips like 30% of the required tempering for the station you are on.
It is however very chill training, especially if you use the Runelite Plugin "Easy Giants Foundry"

It is a very chill method, and you also get more xp/bar compared to smithing items.
For comparison with 500 Mithril Bars and 500 Addy bars
- If you smith both of these into platebodies to sell them later = 56.200 xp. However addy plates is like 250k xp/h
- If you smith the bars into items and then use the items in Giants Foundry = 500k xp and like 150k xp/h
- If you use the bars directly in Giants Foundry = 600k xp and like 190k xp/h

I will be mining the same place I have done since Lvl 75: Blast Mining

Oooowwooowwoooo blast mining is nice! You can get into a nice little groove and it's like a surprise at the end when you get all your ores!

I still have no clue how to do Blast Mine, haha.
