Returning Player where to start?
Hello everyone!
I wanted to make a post here for returning players like myself. I have not played in years and much of my time prior back in the day was spent solely just skilling and grinding. I'm looking for more in depth gameplay and where to start. I know skilling will still exist but I am looking to get more out of my new osrs journey.
Thanks in advance. I'm glad to have found this group.

Re: Returning Player where to start?
Start questing! It's great for starting accounts, but the OSRS lore and dialog is crazy fun as well. It's rewarding too, since it unlocks new areas and useful items.
Other than that, set goals for yourself. The ones that work best for me are certain items, certain bosses, or certain skill levels I want to achieve. If you do it like this, everything you do starts to become a means to an end, instead of a mindless grind.
Hopefully this helps a bit!

Howdy CrispReload,
Welcome back!
I agree with @Non-Sensical, get to questing! They are the best to obtain more in-depth gameplay and can be quite enjoyable.
With questing, you'll have to push yourself to train your skills and explore new areas of the game that you usually would not if you did not do any quests. If you need help with them, you can refer to the OSRS Wiki, your quest guide, or ask in-game.
All the best!

Re: Returning Player where to start?
Thanks for your responses! I'm definitely been putting in some hours to questing.
I'm looking to 100% but clearly that will be a long term goal, usually attempting to grab a couple quest points here and there along with mild skilling so I don't burnout.
I appreciate your help! See ya out there!

Welcome Back!
Not sure of the levels you have on your account. As seen in the recent posts on this same thread. Yes questing, Diaries and honestly if you have a lower slayer level. Train that up as you train your combat levels and then in return you can start bossing also with raiding. Few suggestions.
Glad to have you in osrs

Welcome back to the game Crisp, quests an diaries are indeed good ways to come back strong. There is a lot of new stuff in the game you could do as well, not sure how long you've been gone but Tempoross and Gotr are pretty enjoyable for me if you've never tried them it's worth a go. Good luck on your journeys

Welcome back! I've just recently returned as well & found myself enjoying a lot of things i didn't really enjoy back in the day, one being questing! It's great to unlock a lot of rewards that will help you in the long run. Setting yourself different goals to when you last played makes things feel fresh again too. Good luck!

hey, welcome back!
I also think getting 100% in all kourend favour is a good grind! once its done, its done and has a lot of perks + getting the tier 5 shayzien gear is handy.
ps. if this isnt actually new to you then i am so sorry for my noobiness and please ignore..
love you k bye

Definitely have to say if you start questing that will take along time to complete & tbh it will open up many opportunities along the way.
