Monkey Madness for Pures

Im an old runescape vet i know that pures cant talk to dairo because of the xp and ive done the quest myself on my old main back when rs3 used to be regular runescape. Im making a pure now and i wanted to know if "not talking to dairo" was still in effect because im reading different threads that you can and different threads that you still cant on different forums but the threads are quite old so i cant judge those threads much.

Once the quest is complete a 1 defence pure is not allowed to talk to Daero to return to the island without gaining defence experience

Also, consider if you plan to chin for ranging xp, you wont have access to the ape atoll tunnels.
Which is why many finish chinning range before completing MM on their pures.
