I'm Mia.
I am a bit new to osrs, I started playing in October. I was looking for a game to play with my 14 y o son. I came across osrs, and completely fell in love, he doesn't like it though. lol so as it turns out, its my game only! haha so much for the mother-son bonding!
I don't play any other games.
I was invited to join the clan by <Im Enormous> when we connected on a quest a couple days ago.

I am 34 years old & Canadian eh.

14 is around when I quit playing the first time, so maybe it's just a phase we go through around that age. Still, I applaud you for trying; I think I would have been pretty thrilled if my mom had showed any interest at all in the game. Still would, if I'm honest!

Thanks for the intro! You sound like a pretty cool mom. I couldn't imagine my parents having any interest in gaming with me, but it would definitely be a special treat. I've asked them to try out of a few games with me so they would understand why I spend so much time on my computer, but they just don't have any interest, haha.

As Brodie said, I personally would be thrilled if my mom had shown an interest at that age, and even now. But alas! Here I am over a decade later playing the same game I spent hours upon hours on as a teenager!
I imagine the nostalgic charm of the game is nonexistent to today's teens, and the graphics off-putting.

Hey Mia, welcome to the clan!

My mother used to play RS with me, pre-eoc back around 2005-2008ish. It was a true bonding experience for anywhere we went we could discuss our current goals/etc. It sucked when she quit and went to sewing instead, as I didn't have an interest in that enough for us to keep up long discussions lol

It's never a bad thing to have a fun game to yourself, either! What types of games does your son like?
