Survivin 2020

Hey all,

My name is Sir Viva Ble or Daniel, 23, student (Computer Science), and too much time on my hands. I've only recently joined OSRS after having my account hacked a few years back, so I'm still in the early stages of the account building. A real-life friend of mine told me to join the clan chat, and after lurking around for a month or two I decided to join the rest of the community! (Fun fact: my username was quaran10 at first, which only makes sense when pronouncing the 10 in the Dutch way, making it the word quarantine.) So yeah, that's mostly it. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them!

The CC definitely helps! I'm depending on quite some knowledge of the guys in there
Currently I'm skilling and at the same time trying to make money when I feel like semi-afk'ing, otherwise it's slayer. I've been told to follow the optimal quest guide from the OSRS wiki, but I can't really do more than 1 quest at a time.. In some way they're boring or just terrible to do.

It took me a looooong time to appreciate questing. The optimal quest guide is a great resource, but it can kinda suck all the fun out of the equation if you follow it too closely. I find they're much more enjoyable when you take them slow. Appreciate the worldbuilding, the humour. Read the dialogue. That kinda thing. Doesn't work for all of them, of course; some of it still bores me to tears. But there's some legitimately great questing content in this game that goes underappreciated because people focus on getting it done, rather than enjoying the journey.

Lot's of the early-game ones are terrible though. No argument there, lol.

And getting them done one at a time is fine! Take plenty of breaks to do stuff you actually enjoy, and remember that any progress at all is something to be proud of

Hi Daniel,
I love your Sir Viva Ble RSN! I've always thought the names of the Falador knights was a neat play on words and yours fits right in.

Questing is my favorite thing to do in-game and I agree with Syllabic's advice to take your time and appreciate the quests. I'm one that reads all dialogue options when questing and I even go as far as examining NPCs and items when questing. There's a lot of humor and Easter egg references in the quests. and of course the lore, which make them so enjoyable.
