Your Favourite OSRS Runescape Pet?

This may sound simplistic, but my favorite pets in OSRS are cats. I like that cats are dynamic in how they grow from a kitten to a cat and require being fed and played with in order to do so. I like that cats are interactive in that we can talk to them and play with them. I like that pet cats are incorporated into quests and in that way travel with the adventurer and be part of our adventures.

Of course, the sack of 100 or 200 death runes received when turning a cat in to the civilians of West Ardougne is motivation to raise kittens into cats but I think it’s neat that there’s dialogue for this. It’s almost like the adventurer is fostering kittens and then finding them permanent homes when they’re grown.

As a cat lover in real life with 3 cats as companion animals, having cats be part of my in game life makes me think of own cats. My original cat from the Gertrude’s Cat quest is a color similar to one of my real life cats that I bottle fed when he was only a few days old and who has now grown into a fine looking adult cat named Alduin.

Though my goal isn’t as ambitious as acquiring a skilling or boss pet and not that difficult to achieve once I determine to do it, I plan to complete the quests with my main cat and to use the reward of being able to name my cat, which will be Alduin after my real life cat.

awww spirit your cat is adorable this is too cute and honestly I used to love the little puppies they used to have in this game but they don't anymore back on the old RuneScape I used to have a Dalmatian man good old days <3

I also remember the puppies in RuneScape (which is now RS3) and know I had one but don't remember which kind. I'll have to log in sometime and see which one is was. They sure were cute!

I would say K'ril is definitely my favorite pet in the game. Groot is pretty cool too - I plan on doing lots of post 99 farming exp, so maybe I'll get lucky and snag one =)

Alright, I changed my mind. Cerb pet is definitely my favorite pet in the game now. I may or may not be saying that just because I got a Hell-puppy recently, lol. It's been around a week since I got this pup and I still get a ear to ear grin when she follows me around
