Would Anyone Be Interested in a Monthly Book Club?

Most people in my life know that when I have any downtime, I'm typically reading or listening to a book Lately between my upcoming wedding and busyness at work, I haven't been as motivated to read

I was wondering if people would be interested in us starting a monthly clan book club? We could do book suggestion submissions and then a clan vote on them similar to the way we vote for SOTW and then the winning book would be the one we read for the month. If anyone has any suggestions to tweak this idea, please suggest! It was just my first initial thought to how it could possibly go

We've obviously already chatted about this a bit, but I figure I may as well post here to help drum up some interest. I think this is a lovely idea! Exactly the kind of push I need to get me back into a more regular reading routine. Having it monthly would make it not too too much of a commitment as well, so if anyone's on the fence because they're worried they won't be able to find the time, I really encourage you throw your name in the ring anyway and give it a shot

Sounds like a lovely idea I put maybe on the poll because I have a tendency to read a book in a couple days then not touch another for months so I don't want to guarantee my participation lol Def would be interested to know what books are chosen though!

i like the idea, i need to read more, I tend to like auto biographies which may not appeal so much, since they are probably about people more in the public eye this side of the pond. I'm not a fan of anything horror, but apart from that broadening my horizons with a good book, would be great. I enjoy funny books and have read some that make me laugh out loud, its a real tonic. I'd be recommending Raymond E Feist is someone that appeals to me, and was recommended way back in rs2. I am sure you will all have favourites and the voting is coming along nicely Great idea.
