how you came into your wealth

So ive been seeing a few people lately in the CC asking about money making ideas and such, and with people having such a broad spectrum of wealth now days from multiple bills to people trying to break that first 10m, it got me wondering

how did you get to where you are bank wise in the game?

and whats even considered "rich" now days?

ive personally always considered myself one of the poorest noobs around L
111 combat only just got my fire cape and only got a bank of 75m (and i dont even have rigour yet )

considering ive got to 90 slayer i feel like i should be alot wealthier than i am but talking to a few guys the other day and pointing them in the direction of a few ways to quickly inject cash i realised im not doing all that bad

I attend all of Pidalus weekly PvM events! That makes me loads of money!

Slayer played a small part too though

Most of my wealth was from playing multiple accounts for excessive hours, and over time it gets bigger till you can merch a little.

As far what i'd consider rich these days, anything above 2-3 billion honestly.

I don't chase money I always seem to have enough to play, as in I can buy some runes or cannon balls and this year have had a bank varying between 80-100m. This represents 12 years of play btw as I gifted this account my money from my now ftp account. My best drop ever on that was a vizzy from a 17 irons task!! which pretty much bought me bandos. I feel comfortable in bandos and worked my way from sara sword to sara godsword and that's pretty much all I need. I have 99 farming so could use that to make me cash I suppose. It barely seemed to cost me much apart from some trees funded by slayer. I don't boss and that's where the big money is and you need to up your game to afford to do it well, and I don't have the mindset to do farm runs or anything daily, people talk about grind/chore and that would be both of those for me. I play to have fun, like to splurge 20m on a few rounds of pc in the noob boat bursting, just because I can. Magic is my favourite thing so I treat it as abit of a treat and am in no hurry to get 99. I mostly only do what I enjoy, will never max for that reason and apart from slayer I can always wc, fish, farm for profit and fletching , rc. The main thing is to have fun, I don't compare my progress to others and consider myself a social player. ( some people have limited time to play, and we are all at different stages of the game and have varying builds).Oddly playing tl has zoned me more into the game and less into the cc, but as Bear pointed out we have had far less trolls to deal with and currently its a nice group of friends who entertain and help each other, so the moderating role is required less and I can sit back and enjoy what is going on. If you do accumulate cash don't sit on it and gloat, keep upgrading your gear I had a friend who wanted the green 10m stack and so stuck with a glory instead of getting a fury......that makes no sense, make it better your game however you play, and also remember new things cost loads when they come out, so keep an eye on prices and buy once they settle or your hear more opinions on actually how good they are or worth the money. Sometimes people will say the combination of other items will serve you better depending on what you need it for. Happy scaping...……...

When I started playing again in June I had barely any gp because I gave it all away the last time I quit, so I struggled at first but once I got blowpipe and BGS I hit vorkath hard for a month or so. Saved up for dhcb, then rigour, as the upgrades kept my drive going to earn more and more money. After getting lucky in countless drop parties and games, as well as a very generous secret santa my cash has seemingly built up out of nowhere. I have no idea what I'm planning on doing once Twisted League ends, but I can see myself spending a lot of time raiding

Money has always been a big motivator for me, mostly because I just like having the money when I need to splurge some.. Like buying 99 Pray just because I can

So using this motivation, I have throughout my journey always had money in the back of my mind.
On my now maxed account, I joined OSRS and bought 3 Bonds for IRL Money to give myself the 10m starter cash. I invested those money mostly in gear so I wouldn't have to worry later when I started getting better stats

Whenever I see someone asking for moneymakers, it isn't for the lulz that I always answer with Herb Runs, because that is literally how I began!
My main money method until midgame was Herb runs, made a good 200k per run and did 5-6 runs a day, that made me 1m/day. And that is a lot in the beginning of the game.

After herb runs, I started on diaries, my main goal was Mory Hard because I have always liked Barrows, and I wanted max profit when I started.
The money from herb runs funded all the buyable skills I needed for Mory Hard
Then Barrows and Herb runs became my 2 main moneymakers.

Maxing was currently not a goal, but I did want high buyable skills and I suddenly discovered that I used more money than I earned!
This fact was the main cause behind starting Runecrafting!
For Runecrafting I took the slow but extremely profitable method
I did fire runes until 44
44-65 = Nature Runes = 13m Profit
65-82 = Death Runes = 60m Profit
82-91 = Astral Runes = 110m Profit
91-99 = Nature Runes = 255m Profit
So in total I made around 435m from 99 Runecrafting, of course this was a different time, Nature runes were 320 each and Deaths were around 280 each, today the 435m would most likely be 300m.

Runecrafting funded basically all buyables for Maxed, but it is worth to note that during Runecraft, I never stopped with Herb runs, I did Herb runs consistent, and that of course increased my bank value alot too. Even after 99 Farming, I still continued with Herb runs, because now as a 99 it was suddenly 300-350k per run, and considering a run takes at most 5min, that was easy money

I have never owned more than 600m, and that is basically because I am very impulsive in my goals and that is my main motivator for earning money, so I can allow myself to be impulsive

What is rich? What is poor?
I consider rich the state where if you want to buy something you want, then you can do it. Poor would be the opposite.
Like I got 99 Prayer when I was around 92 Runecraft, the reason I did so, was because I was burnt out by Runecrafting, I was at this point rich, so the need to earn money was gone, since I was at this point: Rich.
So I bought 99 Prayer which made me Poor. But it reignited my reason for Runecrafting, to become Rich again

And that was basically my money journey

Yeah, it seems like I always run out of money and am just going bond to bond. But when I look at my lvls, I think it is because I have tried to do everything. I'm around 1620 total level which is decent but I'm only 65 slayer and only have one skill in the 90s. But, I have enjoyed playing. For me, that's what it is all about. If I am doing the things I enjoy and have to end up gem mining or doing mlm for a few days (or alching green d'hides) at the end of my bond to get another one, that's ok for me. With that being said, I'm always open to suggestions

Most of my wealth came from the following,
-Revs
-Single Pking
-Sand Casino

The drive to have a big bank pushed me, to have endless supplies for pking and not worrying if i lost a AGS was amazing.

Personally I just kill skeletal wyverns if i need a cash influx. Outside of that i make money just doing konar slayer or other random things

I do a combination of various skilling, some slayer and bossing.

I just play the game and progress my account. I don't have a lot compared to others who feel lucky and go to the sand casino, sure, but I know if I continue on building up my account & having fun with it, I will come onto the money regardless. It allows for many options + possibilities, some better than others, to open up

Most of my wealth has come from Pvm/Merching

I consider rich to be in the realm of 4-5b+

I started playing osrs again two weeks ago, and had literally nothing to my name. My friend lent me a bond to get me started again, and from there i did some kurasks till i had a 5m bank (they're about 500k/h), and then i did barrows until i had a 20m bank (1m/h with morytania hard) and then i did the monkey madness 2 quest and started farming demonic gorillas. I currently have a little bit over 1000 kill count and 4 zenytes to my name. My bank is worth 60m at the moment, and that's after i dropped 20m getting construction 83/max house.

Early levels I spent in f2p eventually getting to the point of safespotting Ogresses, had about 1M when I went to members. I got my initial "real" gold from doing slayer using Konar for the extra cash from the keys. When I had levelled up enough to use Duradel I swapped to him because he has better tasks. Also did some thieving to break things up a little, doing Ardy Knights and Master Farmers. Also flipped on the GE every morning before doing anything else in game. All in all ended up just over 300M from 99 slayer, flipping and 99 thieving combined.

I actually initially transferred my money from rs3 haha, knew I wasn't gonna play it . then pretty much just did slayer, bosses and slayer bosses, mind you I'm not that rich.

I recently started playing again, so I don't have much money. But I have about 900k now just from flipping, and raising my magic and range to level 60 on Hill Giants. Adamantite ores are my favorite as they have the highest margins I've found so far.

In RSC, that's how I made millions without doing anything. Started flipping holiday items. I don't know my bank value, but I know I have a Santa Hat in my bank.
