With 2019 wrapping up, I want to say thank you.

2019 has been great, just simply based off of trackable statistics alone.

Back in January, we had a total of just over 2,300 members here on the offsite. At the time, our members posted a total of over 27,750 messages across 1,354 posted topics. The most users we’d ever seen online at one time was 149 on the 6th of January, 2019.

Those numbers have all increased by admirable amounts as of my current time of writing - we’re at roughly 2,850 members (24% increase) who have posted almost 41,000 messages (48% increase) across almost 2,200 topics (62.5% increase). The most users we’ve now seen was 350 (135% increase), just 8 months later on the 13th of August, 2019.
Our offsite, and thereby our clan, is easily as popular as ever!

Outside of the offsite, we have some other easily measured statistics:

Recruit Thread
We went through the second half of Recruit Thread v16, all of v17, v18, and have nearly filled v19 as well!

Discord
Our Discord server ( https://discord.gg/osrsadvice ) started off as a supplementary PVM server for our members and has now expanded to an official clan Discord, lead by myself, @Moon Light and @Bing, with Bing handling most of the work single-handedly!
This has been supplemented with 34 boosts from 14 separate boosters (a monthly Discord subscription, granting additional server features/benefits), garnering us a total of over 760 current members!

Little Column A, Little Column B
Our ignore list is at an all-time low due to the lack of trolls causing us trouble, thanks to our fantastic moderators. On the other hand, the friends list I need to clean once every month or two due to all the newcomers wanting smileys. That means our clan chat has been just as full as ever, often maxing out at 100/100 during peak hours, even after everyone has removed their alts!

Donations and Events
While our chat is as full as ever, the same can be said for our coffers. The donations from you generous members have never been higher, helping us throw the absolute best events possible and giving it all right back to you, our fantastic community. Whether that be our 2,500 member event over the summer, our most recent holiday event just last week, or even the ongoing events such as @Moon Light’s infamously clever hide-n-seeks, the heads of the Skill of the Week events, and of course @Pidalu’s weekly PVM trips.

While I’m proud to call myself the leader of OSRS Advice, having taken over at the start of 2019, none of this would have been possible without those who have lead us here in the past – @OSRS Hailey, @Greybird, and @Runtellthat4. None of us, however, would have been able to lead us here if it weren’t for all of you!

From our Sr. Moderators to our Jr. Moderators, Corporals to Smileys, and even the unranked. None of us would be here now if not for each and every one of you and your additions to the uniquely wholesome culture we’ve created amongst each other and in the game.

Thank you, Guest. Thank each and every one of you, from the bottom of my heart, for making OSRS Advice what it is today.

Being in this clan has improved my runescape experience drastically and I wouldn't trade that for anything Smile

It's exciting seeing how much everything has grown this last year from offsite usage, to pids weekly events, to skill of the week (which just hit 100 total entrants!) I think I speak for a lot of us when I say this clan feels like home now, and I can't wait to see what 2020 has in store for us.

I'm pretty new to the CC, but you guys have fostered an amazing community here. I've loved being a part of it so far, and it's been the CC I have been looking for for a long time now. I haven't felt this since of community since 2003-2006 when all my friends from school were in a clan together.

I've been a part of the OSRS Advice community for a year now and can honestly say that I've not felt so integrated in an online community since back in actual '07 -- it's very refreshing and makes playing OSRS so much more fun.
