So there I was, asking the cc if anyone would like to go to dk's. I presented the question in a way that disguised the fact that I'm basically looking to be carried. Some bloke by the name of "Mars Skizzy" agrees and I ask him three times just to confirm that it's actually happening. I kept telling him how bad my gear was and he would say "it's okay man, i'll make up for it!"

I sold everything in my bank to gear up for this. I was running a rcbow with broads, whip, torag legs, tok-shield, neitznot, black d-hide. I managed to buy a trident and had 10k gold left over when my inventory was ready.

I get to Waterbirth where he was patiently waiting on me. The dude is geared to the teeth. Best in slot EVERYTHING. I'm stoked. We head in.

Fairly uneventful drops, just a seers ring and a d-axe. I consider myself to be pretty sharp at dags and I could immediately tell I was in good company. We were like two characters of one mind; all the kills were executed so smoothly. Swapping of brews and restores between us was amicable and without second thought.

We push our supplies to the absolute ragged edge and leave that place with nothing left in terms of food or prayer. We certainly could not of managed a single extra kill. We get to the GE and I sell all my loot: 192k. I figure hes got the ring, d-axe, and some other stuff: maybe 400k. I show him my 192k and expect to take half the cash back, then have him do the same.

When he put up 1.2 mil worth of loot (he had 65 bones noted) and hit accept I was surprised. Just the kind of stuff you can imagine from a dude with so much class. He knew I scraped my bank for that gear and did me a huge kindness. Thanks again man.
