A Christmas story from Run

Post by runtellthat4 on Sun Dec 18, 2016 2:06 pm

FROM THE IMAGINATION OF RUN WHILE ON BREAK FROM RUNESCAPE: (from Dec 16,2011

With our recent updates giving us 30 bank spaces and the tool belt started me to check out my bank .Noticing that i was getting low on coal i put a post-it on my monitor reminding im low on coal.
Then when taking my grandson back home to the big city i stopped to do some shopping. Now i cant really say (or understand) what was going thru my mind when i seen Santa, but YES i got in line to tell him what i wanted for Christmas. When it was finally my turn Santa asked me " what would u like for Christmas young man"Of course i asked Santa for some coal.He chuckled and asked if i was a naughty boy.As i stammered ah..errr ummmm well i..(cause i couldnt think of anything) a young guy in the line yelled out"hurry up ur holding things up"
A little teary eyed i turned to Santa and said" if u promise to give me some coal, ill promise to do something naughty before Christmas"
Now we have all heard what a jolly old fella he is,but i have never heard anyone laugh as loud and long as he did.As one of his elves escorted me away seemed like everyone was laughing.

I JUST HOPE HE KNOWS I WAS SERIOUS ABOUT THE COAL

I originally wrote that in 2011 on "Pickin Rocks" forum thread and have posted on my PB page every year since since....Getting coal for Christmas Present just today made it seem appropriate here.

that is just terrific, can you please please adopt me, it seems like you all really know how to have fun, and that's the secret to a very good life. If I were you I'd make that next years Christmas card, but I'm sure you will have lots more awesome line ups to match it in the coming year. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your lovely family xx rendeer rendeer rendeer rendeer rendeer rendeer rendeer rendeer

sounds like you and Santa have a special bond Run Laughing santa ......and he kept your post it and remembered you again this year......has Hailey been recruited as a special elf. She certainly seems to be sprinkling some fairy dust in the clan and making everyone happy.

I was super surprised at the generosity of our Christmas giveaway but not surprised Hailey so generous, everyone wins! So much fun, that Run got coal is funny, nice rng there...Lady you are always complimentary and so entirely cute in your posts, thank you, also I signed us all up for snow-fort making later this week. Lady you and I get lil bottles of colored water to write our names in the snow since you know we can't do that without the bottles and my hub isn't cooperating with me on that request:)

Everyone talks harshly about Old Man Winter with cold weather and snow always following him around..When it is his time to leave and welcome spring he teases us with warmer weather and prepares us...now the Mature Lady of Fall when its her time to move aside she throws a tantrum and hits us with the coldest weather of the year as a parting shot..So I welcome Old Man Winter he is nowhere as vicious as that old Lady.
